About the Role

An exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join a high-impact team supporting finance transformation and strategic cost management within the technology and digital division of a leading financial institution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving cost optimization initiatives, performing in-depth financial analysis, and enabling data-driven strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze spending patterns, ratios, and industry benchmarks to identify trends and opportunities
• Deliver financial insights and reports to support cost control and strategy planning
• Prepare forecasts and identify potential cost overrun risks
• Design and implement effective cost control measures and process improvements
• Conduct cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit studies for proposed initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align cost-saving strategies and ensure implementation
• Present cost analysis findings and project progress updates to senior management
• Support the annual budgeting process and advise on cost drivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are highly desirable
• 4–5 years of experience, ideally from a Big Four environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
