About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join a high-impact team supporting finance transformation and strategic cost management within the technology and digital division of a leading financial institution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving cost optimization initiatives, performing in-depth financial analysis, and enabling data-driven strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze spending patterns, ratios, and industry benchmarks to identify trends and opportunities
- Deliver financial insights and reports to support cost control and strategy planning
- Prepare forecasts and identify potential cost overrun risks
- Design and implement effective cost control measures and process improvements
- Conduct cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit studies for proposed initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align cost-saving strategies and ensure implementation
- Present cost analysis findings and project progress updates to senior management
- Support the annual budgeting process and advise on cost drivers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are highly desirable
- 4–5 years of experience, ideally from a Big Four environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
