About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of a leading financial institution. This role plays a critical part in managing cloud and hybrid environments, implementing Zero Trust Architecture, and ensuring adherence to industry security and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  Administer and manage cloud-native security controls such as Azure NSGs, AWS Security Groups, and firewall policies.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Oversee secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments, including VPN, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Investigate and respond to cloud-based security alerts using tools like Microsoft Defender, AWS GuardDuty, and Azure Sentinel.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Support Zero Trust and SASE/ZTNA initiatives, enhancing access control and perimeter security.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Implement endpoint protection for cloud workloads using Defender for Endpoint or CrowdStrike.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Manage Microsoft 365 security projects across Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Maintain security visibility and compliance reporting in line with standards such as PCI DSS, BNM RMiT, and MAS TRM.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Provide expert input on cloud security for adoption and migration projects.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Mentor junior engineers and improve existing cloud security processes and documentation.

  \n\t
\n

Requirements

\n\t
• \n\t

  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Minimum 7 years’ experience in cloud network security or cloud security operations.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Strong experience in Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Familiarity with cloud security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, and ISO 27001.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture and endpoint protection.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security controls and configurations.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
