Senior Process Engineer (MNC based in Tebrau Johor)

The Senior Engineer Process Development will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for new and existing products. The ideal candidate will have experience in process development, optimization, and validation, as well as a strong background in statistical process control and data analysis.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Conduct process validation, equipment qualification, and process capability studies.
• Design and execute experiments to optimize process performance.
• Develop and implement process control plans, process monitoring systems, and statistical process control methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transfer of new products and processes to manufacturing.
• Lead and participate in technical problem-solving activities related to manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, and work instructions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Train and mentor other engineers and technicians in process development and improvement methodologies.

Requirement:

• Minimum in bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development, optimization, and validation in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to converse well in English, Bahasa and Mandarin (liaise with customer)
• Experience with statistical process control and data analysis tools.
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and other statistical methods.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, including testing and assembly.
• Experience in automotive industries is a plus
