Sales Executive (Home-Based - Northern Region)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a well-established network in the palm oil mill industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and providing excellent customer service to clients in the northern region of Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Management:

• Identify and engage with potential clients in the palm oil mill industry.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities and planning to the company.

Product Knowledge:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of conveyer chains and their applications in palm oil mills.

Sales Cycle Management:

• Manage a fast sales cycle, typically requiring changes every 2-3 months.
• Ensure timely delivery and follow-up on orders.

Reporting:

• Provide weekly updates on sales planning and activities.

Travel:

• Travel within the northern region (Perak, Teluk Intan, Taiping, Sitiawan) to meet clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably with a background in mechanical engineering.
• Proven network within the palm oil mill industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Compensation

• Salary range RM4,000 and above, with commission and allowances.
• Open to discussing salary based on relevant experience.

Additional Information

Home-based and covering the northern region of Malaysia (Perak, Teluk Intan, Taiping, Sitiawan).
