Position: Assembly Technician
Location: Ayer Keroh, Melaka
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract
Salary: RM2,800 – RM4,400 (based on experience and approval) + night shift allowance
Working Days & Hours:
Days: Monday to Friday or 4 days per week (1 off day + 1 rest day)
Hours:
Normal: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
12-hour rotational shift:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute assembly project activities with cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and quality targets.
Perform assembly, incoming inspection, customization, integration, and validation using approved checklists, maintaining a zero-defect and on-time delivery mindset.
Collaborate closely with assembly leads, material control, warehouse, purchasing, final test, engineering, QA, and project management to resolve issues, manage priorities, and ensure readiness.
Escalate out-of-plan issues according to manufacturing escalation procedures and log issues in the tracking system for Kaizen and continuous improvement.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for design, processes, and customer requirements across mechanical, hardware, and software aspects.
Use correct, calibrated tools, jigs, and control documents; maintain 5S standards, proper tool condition, and accurate material identification.
Follow safety procedures and ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.
Continuously enhance technical skills in line with the annual training matrix.
Support field service activities when required, including limited local or overseas travel.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent technical experience.
2–3 years of relevant technical experience (fresh graduates may apply).
Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and detailed blueprints.
Proficient in using common tools and mechanical fixtures.
Strong electro-mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
Advanced proficiency in using diagnostic terminals.
