Position: Final Test Technician

Location: Ayer Keroh, Melaka
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract
Salary: RM2,800 – RM4,400 (Based on experience and approval) + night shift allowance

Working Days & Hours:

  • Days: Monday to Friday or 4 days per week (1 off day + 1 rest day)

  • Hours:

    • Normal: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM

    • 12-hour rotational shift:

      • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

      • Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute final test activities with cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and quality requirements.

  • Perform final testing according to approved checklists and customer requirements, maintaining a zero-defect mindset.

  • Manage and escalate out-of-plan issues according to manufacturing escalation procedures.

  • Collaborate with setup, engineering, QA, and project management teams to ensure test readiness and drive continuous improvement in design, setup, and customer sample management.

  • Log and track all test-related issues in the issue-tracking system for Kaizen and continuous improvement.

  • Use calibrated tools, jigs, and approved instructions; maintain proper documentation and control.

  • Practice 5S daily, ensure correct material identification, and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.

  • Continuously improve skills in line with the annual training matrix.

  • Support field service activities when required, including limited local or overseas travel.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree, Diploma, or equivalent technical experience.

  • 2–3 years of relevant technical experience (fresh graduates may apply).

  • Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and detailed blueprints.

  • Proficient in using common tools and mechanical fixtures.

  • Strong electro-mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

  • Advanced ability to use diagnostic terminals.
