Mechanical Design Engineer (Team Leader - Contactor)

• Joint responsibility for all contactor related technical topics of assigned customer
• Technical Lead for customer projects in the contactors group
• Clarification of technical requirements and definition of product configuration and details: alignment with customer, sales, FAE and other involved departments
• Provide technical information that is required for quoting
• Coordination and scheduling of projects in cooperation with other involved departments
• Assignment and communication of tasks to the contactor’s designer
• Guidance and supervision of involved project members
• Responsible for the performance (design related) of our products at our customers
• Cooperation with customers, FAE and post sales to solve technical problems at customer
• Onsite troubleshooting at customers word wide to analyze and solve technical issues
• Investigation of customer RMA´s and report generation
• Monitor of product performance at customers and recommend product improvements as needed
• Support our sales organization to promote and sell our products (e.g. technical discussion and technical product presentation on site)
• Support and substitution of other lead engineers worldwide
• Teamwork culture by leading an Engineering team to meet KPI
