Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Location: Bukit Bintang (near MRT), Malaysia

Position Overview:

The IT Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in the product development lifecycle, from initial concept and market research to final execution and launch. This role requires a high level of expertise in data analysis, product planning, and collaborative problem-solving to address complex product requirements and optimize system processes. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure product alignment with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Planning and Execution:

o Spearhead product planning activities, including content ideation, architecture design, and proposal development.

o Define functional specifications and create comprehensive product requirement documents to guide design and development teams.

• Market Needs Analysis and Product Requirements:

o Conduct market research and analyze trends to translate market needs into actionable product requirements.

o Ensure high standards of quality by performing product acceptance and quality control (QC) assessments in collaboration with relevant teams.

• Cross-Functional Coordination and Feedback Management:

o Act as a liaison between business departments to identify, address, and resolve product-related issues.

o Develop issue resolution plans and manage product feedback to improve product quality and user experience.

• Data-Driven Optimization:

o Analyze project data to identify opportunities for improvement in product features, system processes, and strategy.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimization suggestions and support system enhancements.

• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

o Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to share product goals, updates, and progress.

o Collect and act on feedback from teams to enhance collaboration and maintain alignment with product goals.

• Supportive Responsibilities:

o Contribute to various other tasks as assigned by direct supervisors, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education and Experience:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

o Minimum of 4 years’ experience in data analysis, website planning, and/or software development.

• Technical Proficiency:

o Comprehensive understanding of Web/App development processes.

o Skilled in the use of project management tools such as Axure and Jira.

• Interpersonal Skills:

o Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and facilitate collaboration.

o Proven ability to work independently, with a high level of self-motivation and learning agility.

• Language Requirement:

o Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese to engage effectively with Chinese-speaking colleagues and clients.
