Assistant Manager (cum AVP), Marketing

Our client is a diversified multinational financial services group, with a global network of offices and group companies across diverse industries and spanning the major regions of the world. 

Position Summary

The role is responsible for Corporate Financial Services (CFS) and will act as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Marketing. Suitable candidate should have some experience in managing subordinates and possess good command in English (spoken and written). The job is based in the company HQ (in Bangsar, KL).

Job Responsibilities

• Managing a sub-business unit to market and secure business through aggressive and effective marketing activities. 

• Build strong business relationships with customers and suppliers. 

• Expand customer and supplier base. 

• Plan and execute marketing strategies and lead a team of marketing staff to achieve target/ KPI set. 

• Review the financial data and market information to facilitate credit assessment and analysis. 

• Develop new business, conduct customer service relationship activities and promote cross selling of Group products and services.  

Job Requirements 

• Degree/ Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent. 

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in equipment leasing and financing in both SME and corporate clients. 

• Strong leadership/ management skills. 

• Aggressive in business development. 

• Good spoken and written communication skills.
