Collections Officer (up to RM4000)

Job Responsibilities: 

• Conduct tele-calling to recover delinquent accounts using instalment plans, settlements, and composite payments. 
• Follow call scripts, collection strategies, and adhere to all regulatory and internal policies. 
• Use dialer systems and update follow-up actions in the CACS system. Escalate high-risk cases, potential breaches, and complaints to the Line Manager. 
• Recommend field referrals and negotiate settlements to reduce risk and maximize recoveries. \
•  Maintain accurate customer records and support post-settlement account management. 
• Ensure timely completion of required trainings and e-learnings. 
• Comply with money laundering prevention procedures and uphold conduct standards.

Requirements 

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office and telecommunication tools. 
• Familiarity with collection systems (e.g., CACS) is an advantage.
•  Detail-oriented with good follow-up and documentation habits. 
• Prior experience in collections or recovery roles preferred
